Summary An introduction to the area and quests of Petrograd, the Venice of the North! The Russian revolution area has something to offer for players of all levels, up to and including groups of level 50 players. The city and its surroundings are not the safest city in the world, but with a bit of caution you will not find it too dangerous for exploring, either.

Petrograd Quests ( IndustrialQuests )

  • Rasputin's Diary -- After bringing the truth to light, seek out the revolutionary communist Lenin and he may entrust you with a mission to discredit the Tsar Nicholas.
  • If you become a "Comrade" of Lenin but wish to remain anonymous, an agent lingering near the Winter Palace could help restore your 'Anonymity'
  • Poor Girl's Education -- In the Apartments, there is a girl who wants an education, but no one will pay her works any attention. Bring her diary to the writing professor and then go back and bring her to the professor. Get some xp but no whois.

Petrograd History

It is 1917, and trouble is brewing in the Russian capital. Revolutionaries following the teachings of Karl Marx are said to be plotting the overthrow of the Tsar, whose unpopularity has skyrocketed with his inept handling of the war in Germany. Only time, and perhaps the influence of a brave adventurer or two, can determine the final outcome of these events.

But Petrograd's reputation as a city of artists and beauty is not undeserved, and there is much to discover in the cold north aside from revolution. Petrograd University is among the leading academies in Europe, and the people of the city, though times are hard in Russia, still have the souls of the great Russian artists and poets.
