BLINDED
Being blinded is a direct affect of the blindness spell. There are also other special cases where you can be blinded and experience the same effects. When you have been blinded it will show up in your status display.
'And finally, blind.. it's probably the most devastating deprep. Blind spell is +20ac and -9hitroll. It also removes your target's ability to see. Unless the target has abilities to attack while blind, the target cannot initiate combat.'
BLINDING FLASH

BRAINPOWER

CALM
A bardic skill which allows you to relieve tensions in the room. It can be either an area affect or directed affect. Fighting people will stop fighting. Raging people will not stop fighting, but they will stop raging. Note that calming a single target, unless it is your opponent, will simply result in the target's opponent initiating the fight again. Requires the play skill as a prerequisite.
CAMOUFLAGE

CAUSE LIGHT WOUNDS

CONTAGIOUS COUGH

Caster creates the illusion of coughing loudly and hacking harshly. Results in spreading the plague to anyone present not in the caster's group.
CONTROL WEATHER

Condition must be one of: clear, clouds, rain, storms, snow, uncertain. Severity must be one of: light, medium, heavy, extreme.
Allows the caster to change the weather conditions around the caster. This spell requires precise concentration on the caster's part. If the words are
not chanted correctly, the spell will fail.
Weather may not be controlled beyond its natural limitations: it is unlikely, for example, that even the most powerful mages could make it snow in the
middle of a desert.
Further, controlling weather is not a task for any but the most powerful of mages. Even then, a mage's Power may be sapped if he or she attempts to overreach his or her bounds. The more extreme the weather change, the more mana it will take.
CREATE HEALING

Creates a healing balm that increases the healing rate of whoever it is applied to. The balm must be used immediately after it is created or it will go bad and you cannot apply more than one at a time.

DAGGER OF ICE

When cast, a dagger of ice is created that can be used as a weapon by the caster.
You look closely at a dagger of ice, trying to get the sense of it as a weapon. You heft a dagger of ice and give it a few experimental swings. This piercing weapon feels like it weighs around 5kg. A dagger of ice probably does at most 8 points of damage. This is a weapon of extremely high quality.
Dagger casts Frost Bolt spell when wielded in battle.
DANCING SWORD

Causes a weapon to obey your commands as it floats along beside you for a duration based on cast level. When the weapon runs out of hitpoints, it is totally destroyed.
DETECT POISON

DOPPELGANGER

Creates : Illusory doppelganger
Creates a doppelganger, an illusory clone of the caster. The charmed mob will look exactly like the player at the time the spell is chanted, so you can use the NAME command to set your description how you want before casting.
This mob causes no damage to victims detecting illusions. The doppelganger is charmed to the caster and will obey his commands implicitly. Note that the
doppelganger will intercept anything intended for you if your full name is used as the keyword, including tells, blows, and given items and sometimes acts.

DREAM SENDING

ENTRANCE
Entrancing will cause the victim to start dancing madly. They will remain entranced until the next tick, and during that time may not perform many commands, though they may be broken out of the trance by waking, being headbutted, bashed, being put to sleep, forced to rest, or killed. Dancing people may flee and defend themselves, but not use any "active" skills while
in combat. (Some automatic ones will still work.)
If you're currently in combat and you ENTRANCE with no argument, it will act on your current opponent.
If you have multiple playable instruments, you can specify which one you wish to entrance with. If you don't, the first one found will be used.

EPHEMERA

This offensive spell twists your evil thoughts into pain and suffering for your target. It may only be cast if you are evil and may provide a bonus if your opponent is good.
FADE PERSON

An invisibility spell that can only be cast on others, not the caster.
FAMILIAR
Summons an otherworldly being to assist you. The mere presence of an imp will help reduce losing concentration on spells as well as provide unique prep spells to the summoner. Though terrible at following orders, a caster who wishes to banish the familiar may give it the order to 'leave', or dismiss the familiar. Such summoned beings are bound to the caster for a very long time, even persisting after the caster has rented.
Types of familiars include Owl, Cat, Crow, Wolf and Imp. If you don't specify which you wish to summon, the Imp will arrive by default.
Imps, in particular, are prone to boredom. It is wise to keep an imp at least somewhat entertained where scenery is concerned, lest they decide to start annoying the people around them.
Owl grants bonus to MIN (3), SPI (3), +2 hit and mana regen, and "Invulnerability" (5% avoidance of hit and slash)
Wolf grants bonus "Health of the Wolf" (3 CON), "Reflexes of the Wolf" (3 DEX, 2 Hit, 3 Damage), "Protection of the Wolf" (+9 AC), and "Invulnerability" (5% avoidance of crush and slash)
Cat grants bonus to "Cat Vision" (PER 3), "Cat Reflexes" (DEX 3), Hitroll (4), "Invulnerability" and "Soul of the Cat" (2 mana regeneration).
Crow grants bonus to PER (3), "Rectification" (2 HP and mana regen), and "Protection of the Crow" (+8 AC, 5% less damage from hit and slash)
FEAR

REFRESHMENT
Applies an amount of movement regeneration for a duration based on caster's mind. This spell can be cast on others as well.
REGENERATION
Regeneration can be thought of as a form of healing. You will regenerate while you are in a non-combat position and have no harmful affects or spells on you such as bleeding or poison.
You can also gain regeneration bonuses through spells and equipment. Though this equipment is generally not easy to acquire.
Some items and spells can grant periodic regenerative abilities. If you have positive regeneration in either hit points, mana or movement, they will be periodically increased by the amount of regeneration you have (as seen in the attributes command).
There is a limit on the regeneration bonuses gotten through equipment. Under the ATTRIBUTES command, you can get no more than 13 regeneration points for either mana, movement or hp. With spells, the limit is 17. And lastly, with INNATE REGENERATION, the maximum would be 20.
The configuration showregen will display a message every time you are affected by a regenerative ability.
REJUVENATION
Applies an increased amount of movement regeneration for a duration based upon the mind of the caster.
REMOVE CURSE
Mana cost : 15

Removes a curse from someone and restores their luck. It also allows items to be freely transferred once their curse is lifted.
REPORT SPELL
Mana cost : 25

Forces victim to give a full report, using standard report, going only to the caster.
RESIST POISON

Increases ability to save vs poison for a duration based on cast level.
RESURRECT
Mana cost : 300-500
Targets : Corpses
Resurrection is a spell by which you can cause a group member's corpses, anywhere in the mud to re-appear at the location of the caster. Only corpses with items in them will qualify to be summoned. Empty corpses will not move.
The caster and the person being resurrected must be in the same room and in the same group.
Casters CANNOT resurrect themselves. It must always be cast by another caster.
Resurrection can be cast anywhere, but there are increased penalties for casting it anywhere other than an inn or the caster's house, or the friend-of-the-caster's house as it is more taxing on the mage in casting said spell.
If successful, it will pull all qualifying corpses to the caster. The person on whom the resurrection spell is cast will suffer a severe 5-tick penalty to their stats.
Resurrections require the party being resurrected to be holding in inventory a pulsing blue crystal.
PLEASE NOTE: These crystals are currently available from Douban only and can only be acquired by asking him 'crystal'. They are a special order item so they
are not stocked in his inventory. Be warned that these crystals are expensive (especially for higher level people) and they are tied to your level:
Level 1 to 25: 100 coins.
Level 26 to 35: 1,000 coins.
Level 36 to 45: 5,000 coins.
Level 46 to 49: 10,000 coins.
Level 50: 15,000 coins.
If you advance past your crystal's level, it will no longer work for you. Higher level crystals will, however, work for lower level characters. Please
note that the crystals, though charged in ranges, are tied to your level. A level 1 and a level 25 crystal cost the same amount, but a level 1 crystal will not work for a level 25 character. IMPORTANT: the person being resurrected, NOT the caster, must hold the proper level stone.
Resurrection is currently the only means by which you can recover corpses from a DT -- make a few mage friends. A successful cast can range between 300 and 500 mana, so you may want to figure out what their favorite drinks are ahead of time.

REVIVIFICATION
Applies an amount of increased hp regeneration for a duration based on the caster's mind.
RING OF FIRE

Causes a ring of fire to surround the caster. The ring of fire may inflict damage to the caster's opponents for each round of melee combat. Stepping through the ring (by using a directional command) inflicts damage on the caster and 'dispels' the ring of fire. Lasts for a duration based on cast level. Dispel magic destroys it.
ROCKFORM

Caster hides in the room by projecting the image of a rock. Spell is broken when caster hits return like the hide skill.
SCATTER

Everyone in room is forced to flee except the caster. Notice that the flee may fail for the individual victims as in a normal flee and they will probably not be too happy about it.
SENSE LIFE

Allows caster to determine if there are any lifeforms hidden from his sight in the room.
SLEEP SPELL
Mana cost : 15
Targets : Others
Puts the victim to sleep as long as they are not fighting. Has a chance of upsetting the target victim on failure.
'General rule,' O----n says with zany delight. 'You will always do more damage to the target when it is sitting.'
'To the same effect, you will always take more damage if you are not standing in a fight,' O-----n says with a silly giggle.
O-----n says, extremely giddy and goofy, 'If the target is sleeping, you get 1 free attack round.'
SLOTH

Causes a great weariness to come upon the victim, making them rest.
O----n says, extremely giddy and goofy, 'If the target is resting, the target will stand up after the first round (means it can't use skills until after it stands up)'
SNEAK
Once you begin to sneak, you won't trigger entry acts, or be immediately attacked by aggressive mobs in the room. People won't be able to see you entering, unless their perception is very high. Sneaking may be toggled by typing sneak again.
STAFF OF LIGHT

Creates : Illusory staff
Creates an illusory staff made of light that can be used as a weapon. If the person being attacked has detect illusion, the item does no damage.
This is a weapon of high quality.
STONESKIN STONE SKIN

Causes the skin of the target to become as hard as stone. Makes the caster's skin resistant to piercing and difficult to heal.
You will take 50% less damage from PIERCE type attacks.

STRENGTH SPELL

SUSTAINED BREATH
This spell will allow you to submerge yourself and play in underwater rooms for a set span of time, likely 1*(your level) ticks. If you are still underwater when it runs out, you will drown.
